Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 3 November 2026

Currently open for browsing. Online orders, payments, customer registrations and new seller applications are not open yet. The purchase and delivery provisions below apply when ordering becomes available; browsing does not place an order or reserve an item.

1. About Closet Collection

The Closet Collection is a South African retailer focused on new streetwear, sneakers and designer pieces, with selected pre-owned exceptions, operated by:

CLOSET COLLECTION (PTY) LTD
Registration number: 2026/825377/07
22 Kelvin Road, Dreyersdal, Cape Town, Western Cape, 7945, South Africa
Email: closetcollectioncpt@gmail.com

Our website is closetcollection.co.za. The address above is our company and legal-notice address; please arrange any collection or return with us before sending goods or visiting.

2. These terms and your legal rights

These terms explain use of our website and, once enabled, purchases from Closet Collection. Read them with our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Returns and returns procedure. You can save or print these pages for your records.

Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA), Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA), POPIA or other applicable law. Consignment status, a sale price or a pre-owned description does not by itself remove those rights.

3. Products, condition and availability

Stock can be limited to a single piece. Read the item’s description, size, measurements, condition and any disclosed imperfections before buying. New items are our focus; pre-owned pieces are offered only as selected exceptions. Any relevant limitation in condition or packaging must be clearly disclosed before purchase. A general description does not excuse an undisclosed defect or materially inaccurate listing.

Screen settings can affect colour appearance. We aim for accurate information and will address material mistakes; we will not substitute a different product, size or price without your agreement. Browsing, a saved selection or a cart entry does not reserve stock.

4. Orders, prices and payment

Prices are shown in South African rand (ZAR). When ordering opens, the full payable amount, applicable taxes, delivery charges and any other compulsory charges will be disclosed before you commit. You will be able to review and correct your order before submitting it.

An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt of a request, not acceptance. An order is accepted when we expressly confirm acceptance after checking availability and payment. If we cannot supply an item, we will notify you promptly and refund the amount paid for the unavailable item and any delivery charge no longer due, within the applicable legal deadline and no later than 30 days after notifying you of unavailability. Your additional statutory remedies remain available.

Payments are currently disabled. Available payment methods and the payment provider will be identified before checkout opens. We do not currently accept card details or payments through this website. Do not email card details, passwords, identity documents or bank statements.

5. Delivery

The delivery rates and estimated times are set out in Shipping & Returns. Processing and courier transit are separate periods. Delivery arrangements, the total price and any agreed timing will be available before an order is placed.

Where ECTA applies, we must execute an order within 30 days unless another period was agreed. If we fail to meet the applicable period, you may cancel on seven days’ written notice. We remain responsible for resolving delivery problems; our use of a courier does not remove applicable consumer protections.

6. Cancellations, refunds and exchanges

Eligible online purchases carry ECTA’s seven-day cooling-off right after receipt. CPA remedies for defective, unsafe or incorrectly described goods also apply where relevant. Our returns procedure explains the deadlines, costs and available remedies. A discretionary exchange policy does not replace a refund or other remedy required by law.

7. Selling and consignment

New seller applications are closed. Consignment will require a separate agreement covering approval, ownership, pricing, commission, withdrawal, returns, payment holds and payout requirements. These website terms do not approve an application or authorise you to send stock. No item should be delivered for consignment without our written acceptance and handover instructions.

8. Website use and intellectual property

Use the website lawfully. Do not interfere with its security, impersonate others, submit misleading information or attempt to access restricted areas. Website text, design, photographs and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. You may browse and retain information for personal use and your transaction records; other reuse requires permission or another lawful basis. Third-party trade marks remain the property of their owners.

9. Responsibility and complaints

Closet Collection is your contact for its sales, customer service, delivery and disputes. We take reasonable care with the website but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, defective products or any other liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.

For a concern, email us with your order reference if you have one and the outcome you are seeking. You retain the right to approach the appropriate consumer ombud, the National Consumer Commission, the Information Regulator for privacy matters, or a competent court through the applicable legal process.

10. South African law and updates

South African law governs these terms, subject to any mandatory protection that applies to you. Our company address above is the address for formal notices. Changes will be published with an updated date. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights under an accepted order; the terms applicable when that order was accepted remain relevant to it. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue only to the extent permitted by law.
